Tabernacle Choir

The Tabernacle Choir was formed in 1995 one year after we entered our new sanctuary. It is made up of ordinary men, women and young people with a heart to worship God in the ministry of Music. Under the direction of Pastor Norman Hobson the choir has grown to a membership of 280 people. Their main focus is leading the People of God in worship every Lord’s day at the Tabernacle.

Throughout the year the choir host in participate in different events and every Christmas, over two nights, they host their annual musical to a sell-out crowd.

Our music ministry would not exist without the faithfulness and talent of our gifted musicians:

• Lead Guitar: Jordan Thompson
• Drums: Marc Bunting

These musicians have grown up in the Tabernacle and have been involved with the choir from its formation.

Everything we undertake to do we try to do with excellence, believing that only the best will do in the service of the King.

The music ministry of the Metropolitan Tabernacle has always striven to exalt and glorify the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and to lead the people of God into His presence in Praise and Worship.
